The Loma Prieta Earthquake demonstration was my favorite of the demonstrations I looked at as part of Homework 2. I thought it was cool how this showed how it is possible to use MATLAB to break things down to a very small scale like the acceleration during a one second period to observe real life examples. The 3-D graphs toward the end of the demonstration were also helpful because they clearly displayed what the data looked like even in three dimensions. | The Loma Prieta Earthquake demonstration was my favorite of the demonstrations I looked at as part of Homework 2. MATLAB Demonstrations The Loma Prieta Earthquake demonstration was my favorite of the demonstrations I looked at as part of Homework 2. I thought it was cool how this showed how it is possible to use MATLAB to break things down to a very small scale like the acceleration during a one second period to observe real life examples. The 3-D graphs toward the end of the demonstration were also helpful because they clearly displayed what the data looked like even in three dimensions.
