My name is Ryo Isshiki (pronounced Rio E-she-key). I enjoy, among other things, cooking, eating, and ceramic pottery.
My favorite MatLab demonstration is the Game of Life demo. Perhaps given my background in biology, I immediately noticed how organic the demo appears despite simplifications. How the 'cells' seem to prosper and perish rather pointlessly, and how the game went on without an clear conclusion provides a bleak but succinct answer to the 'meaning of life' question. I just never thought to look in under the MatLab demo tab.
