Favorite MATLAB Demo
My favorite MATLAB demonstration was the Loma Prieta Earthquake demo because it showed how effective MATLAB is at analyzing and presenting real world data. With only a few lines of code it is possible to thoroughly present data pertaining to an earthquake in various forms, including a fascinating 3-D graph. I liked this demo because it showed the uses of MATLAB in actual situations. I live in an earthquake zone so the subject matter of the demo is especially interesting - I've always been somewhat interested in the techniques involved in analyzing earthquakes. Loma Prieta is also the name of a cool hardcore band.
