About Me
I am an undergraduate student at the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University. I currently live in Frederick, Maryland which is forty minutes north of D.C. I like to play tennis and the piano both in competitive environments.
Name Pronunciation
My name is fairly easy to pronounce. My name is Edward Yoon, "Aed-word Yooon". My first name is very common, but for those of you who are having trouble pronouncing my last name, it rhymes with "dune", like a sand dune.
MATLAB Demonstration
My favorite MATLAB demonstration is the Loma Prieta Earthquake demonstration because the graphs of the gravitational acceleration from the effects of the earthquake (East-West, North-South, and Vertical) are similar in 2-dimensional form and are separate from each other. However, using MATLAB, the graphs of each of the three types of gravitational acceleration were combined to form one 3-dimensional graph depicting all three graphs.
