About Me

Oh hey. Uhh... What should I write about me...? Well I am in engineering here at Duke. Obviously. I am currently pursuing a degree in Biomedical engineering. I play oboe in the Duke Symphony Orchestra and mellophone in the Duke University Marching Band (DUMB). For those of you who don't know what a mellophone is, here: [1]. I don't feel like explaining to everyone who has no idea what a mellophone is. Honestly, I only started playing this year. So I'm not that good.

yep. Also I live in Bell Tower. Please don't kill me. I'm going to start lying that I have a medical condition if one more person gives me the evil eye.

also, I love this youtube video: [2]

Grand Challenge Article

I wasn't sure if for the homework we had to find a new article, or choose one from the actual Grand Challenges page... so I did both...

Grand Challenge Wiki: UCSD Biologists Discover That Nerve Activity, Not Just Genetics Controls Kinds Of Neurotransmitters Produced, Sherry Seethaler, UCSD News, created 2 June, 2004, accessed 23 September, 2010 (Reverse-engineer the brain)

Found this one: Newly-found antibodies to target HIV more effectively, The Nation, created 6 September 2010, accessed 23 September 2010 (Reverse-engineer the brain)

Favorite MATLAB demo

Honestly, my favorite MATLAB demo was the minesweeper demo. I played like 5 games before I realized I was supposed to be doing my EGR homework.
