So, you have randomly decided to click my username for some reason or another. Well, if you're wondering how the username, 'bouncingJELI' was derived, it's rather simple, really. 'JE' are the first two letters of my name, and 'LI' is my last name. The two together equals 'JELI', pronounced like 'jelly'. So the bouncing part comes from being cooler than jumpy or wiggly or squishy. I spent my summer in China this year with my family and visited the World Fair, which really isn't worth it because of the long lines. Imagine really bad Duke bus mobs except for six hours at a time. With roughly half a million people. And in very hot, sweat-a-bucket weather. Not worth it, but it was fun anyways. Some of the pavilions are amazing. Overall, China was an interesting experience, to say the least. Left me with a more favorable view of the nation than before as a place to live in. |
