Brief Biography

I was born in Dearborn, MI. I then moved to Boston, MA and then Huntsville, AL. At this point, my memory began to actually develop. I spent 5 years on Kwajalein Island (see photos) in the Marshall Islands. From there, my family moved to Orcutt, CA and finally back to Alabama. I now live in Jarvis.

Grand Challenges for Engineering

The science of solar energy has already started to revolutionize power storage and distribution across the globe. As engineers, it is our job to create the most effective solar cells in order to optimize the efficiency of energy conversion. Read about the proposed solutions to the economical solar energy challenge in the following article: NAE Grand Challenges for Engineers, Ohio University, August 29, 2014 (Grand Challenge).
