About Me
I am currently a Freshman at Duke and I am planning on studying Biomedical Engineering. I hope to go to Medical School after the four years here at Duke. I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and moved to Orlando, Florida at the age of 7. I have an older brother who is finishing his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of Central Florida and I have a younger sister who is currently in her Junior year in high school.
Current Courses
Fall 2013 Semester:
- EGR 103: COMP METH IN ENGINEERING
- MATH 111L: LABORATORY CALCULUS I
- CHEM 101: CORE CONCEPTS IN CHEMISTRY
- Writing 101 - Section 26: TOPIC: CAN CHIMPS HAVE CULTURE?

MATLAB Demonstration
MATLAB contains various demos and codes you could run so that first year students can have a reference point when trying to figure out how to perform certain tasks (Plotting, 3-D plotting, matrix operations, etc.). One of my favorite demos in MATLAB is the "Graphics: 3-D Subplot" function. I like this function because you can display multiple plots in different subregions of the same window using this function. Also, it makes the plots look very complex and makes me feel smart making such complex functions. I find it to be my favorite because I think this function will be very useful for future assignments.
