I really enjoyed the Loma Prieta Earthquake demo because of its application to the real world.  Part of the reason I want to be an engineer is to impact the world at large and this demo in particular shows MATLAB, a software dreaded by many engineering students, being put to good use.  I also found the several of the demos in the Mathematics section to be very intriguing because of the visuals.  In higher level calculus and linear algebra, visualizing is key to understanding the abstract concepts and the pictures really helped me understand several topics.

I'm from Atlanta, GA. I love music of all kinds. I enjoy all forms of art, such as dancing and paintings. I love computers, especially the hardware component which is why I am transferring into Pratt to major in ECE (hopefully).
