About Me
Hello! My name is James, and, if you couldn't tell already, I'm from the most beautiful state in the Union (Colorado!). I am a current freshman at Duke planning on studying Biomedical Engineering, but things aren't set in stone yet. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy playing piano, hiking, and reading the news. Some of my current activities at Duke include Engineering Student Government, Innoworks, and playing keyboard for our musical theater group, Hoof n' Horn.

Grand Challenges for Engineering
The National Academy of Engineering has identified 14 challenges to be tackled by the engineers of the future. These are known as the Grand Challenges for Engineering.
