About Me

I am a freshman undergraduate at the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University. I intend to major in Biomedical Engineering. I call Silver Lake, Ohio home, which is a small town about 30 miles south of Cleveland. During high school I was a day student at Western Reserve Academy, a boarding/day school with about 400 students in Hudson, Ohio.

Interests and Hobbies

Some of my primary interests in school are synthetic biology, medical devices, and microbiology. In high school I ran track and cross country, and I still enjoy running as well as playing ultimate frisbee at Duke. I love hiking, skiing, and biking, and I've visited many of the National Parks (my favorite is Yosemite NP in California). In fact, I live more or less within the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, where I often run, bike, and ride the scenic railway.
