It's interesting to see how equations and code could make an outline map, then a colored map, and then even a globe. |

Matlab Demonstrations
My favorite of the Matlab demonstrations is the Earth's topography demonstration. I thought it was very interesting to see how Matlab could be used to create something more than just lines and simple plots. It's interesting to see how equations and code could make an outline map, then a colored map, and then even a globe.
