Out of all the MATLAB Demonstrations available under MATLAB's own built-in help function, I found that the 3-D Plots demonstration was my favorite because the commands were very applicable to the material we are currently covering in Math 212, such as level plots and 3-D surfaces. MATLAB could be used to check the answers to the homework questions in the problem sets. These 3-D plots are also in color, which makes it easier to visualize the conic sections and depth of all the various surfaces.

MATLAB Demonstrations

Out of all the MATLAB Demonstrations available under MATLAB's own built-in help function, I found that the 3-D Plots demonstration was my favorite because the commands were very applicable to the material we are currently covering in Math 212, such as level plots and 3-D surfaces. MATLAB could be used to check the answers to the homework questions in the problem sets. These 3-D plots are also in color, which makes it easier to visualize the conic sections and depth of all the various surfaces.
