My favorite example was the “Viewing the Penny” demonstration. This example exceeded my expectations on the utilization of Matlab and exposed me to the amazing capabilities of the system. Also, I found it interesting how the code was relatively simple in order to make the penny. The extent of the code was just to draw a Contour plot, manipulate the color and lighting of the Pseudocolor Plot, and then to produce a 3-D plot. Frankly, I found all of the graphic demonstrations, like Earth’s topography, to be extremely enticing.

Favorite Demonstration

My favorite example was the “Viewing the Penny” demonstration. This example exceeded my expectations on the utilization of Matlab and exposed me to the amazing capabilities of the system. Also, I found it interesting how the code was relatively simple in order to make the penny. The extent of the code was just to draw a Contour plot, manipulate the color of the Pseudocolor Plot, and then to produce a 3-D plot. Frankly, I found all of the graphic demonstrations, like Earth’s topography, to be extremely enticing.
