About Me
I am a student in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University.
Name Pronunciation
My name is Zihui Liu, which pronounces as "Zi-Hui Leo". My last name is pretty easy to pronounce because it sounds the same as the constellation. The way others mis-pronounce it, "Zui". Remember, my first name contains two syllables but not one. I also can accept "Timothy" as an alternation for my original name.

Favorite Demonstration in MatLab
- Spherical Surface Harmonic
- Spherical Surface Harmonic is my favorite MatLab Demonstration, and the reason is twofold. First, Fourier series is very useful in mathematics and physics, so it would be a good way to be able to visualize these series. Second, this demonstration shows the ability for MatLab to model free oscillations of planets, especially the Earth.
