Favorite MATLab Demonstration
My favorite MATLab demo was the one that showed the code to display Earth's topography. I was impressed by MATLab's ability to generate a 3D plot of a map of Earth using texture mapping. The way the plot was then manipulated to show the Earth as a sphere and use light reflection to illustrate more texture and curvature was very cool.
