Favorite demonstration in Matlab examples: Game of Life
It uses only matrix and all those built-in functions of matlab to create a accurate model of such a complicated biological assumption. I am astonished at the potential of Matlab after watching this. Matlab now seems to me something beyond basic computing and plotting.
