The graph/plot is actually a contour map , in which the points are plotted at zero altitude. Many of the times, the topography can be displayed using colored lines.

I love to read, but more than that I love to tell and hear stories of all different kinds. I am also a very social person, so the more I am able to talk, the better!

Grand Challenge

The Grand Challenge a competition that Duke engineer students take part in and come up with innovative ideas.

Most Interesting Part of Matlab

The graphical aspect, specifically showing the earth's topography, was most interesting. As we have already learned in Matlab, it is possible to plot functions and then create points/store data and then transfer them to a graph. The graph/plot is actually a contour map , in which the points are plotted at zero altitude. Many of the times, the topography can be displayed using colored lines.
