I also really liked the Klein Bottle demonstration because up until now, I could never quite visualize how the "outside" and "inside" of the bottle were contiguous. About Me

I am an undergraduate at Duke University interested in alternative fuels, energy technologies, and environmental issues. Consequently, I am planning to major in Environmental Engineering and minor in either Energy or Electrical Engineering. An avid learner, I also enjoy free food and the company of nice people. I am a flutist in the Duke Symphony Orchestra, I'm trying to start a Duke team for the Solar Decathlon, and I am a terrible free T-shirt collector. If you're interested in sustainability or environmental issues, we should meet!

Favorite MATLAB Demonstration

One of the most interesting demonstrations was Boy's Surface. I had never heard of it before, and it led to much fascinated clicking.

I also really liked the Klein Bottle demonstration because up until now, I could never quite visualize how the "outside" and "inside" of the bottle were contiguous. The MATLAB code did a good job of displaying the bottle, and I found it very impressive that coders could manipulate MATLAB to create the Klein Bottle in the first place.
