'Courses'
This semester(fall 2013), I take:
- 'Math 111' - Laboratory Calculus I
- 'Chem 101' - Core Concepts in Chemistry
- 'Egr 103' - Computational Method in Engineering
- 'Econ 101' - Economic Principles
'Grand Challenges for Engineering'
This is the article about the 'Grand Challenges for Engineering':
- "BidBrain Project Makes Terabyte Map of a Human Brain", Mia Feldman, ieee spectrum, updated 20 June 2013.
'Favorite MATLAB Demonstration'
My favorite matlab demonstration is the 'Loma Prieta Earthquake', an example that shows how to analyse the real earthquake data and plot them in 3-D view. I think that it gives me the idea of how MATLAB works and it is a good example of what we actually use MATLAB for. Even if I still don't understand how some of the codes work, the comments do a good job of explaining what that codes are meant to do.
