My favorite Matlab Demo is the one on detrending data. It is very useful to be able to determine volatility about a certain trend. This could give a lot of insight into a problem. For example, when looking at stock prices, volatility about a given trend (linear or polynomial) is much more important than volatility about a certain value.

Favorite Matlab Demo

My favorite Matlab Demo is the one on detrending data. It is very useful to be able to determine volatility about a certain trend. This could give a lot of insight into a problem. For example, when looking at stock prices, volatility about a given trend (linear or polynomial) is much more important than volatility about a certain value.
