I am a first year engineering student at Duke University, and I plan to study Mechanical Engineering.
Name Pronunciation
My name is fairly simple. The way my I pronounce it, "Kevin Nikolaus" sounds like "k EH - v ih n" "NIH-ko-louse." The IPA version is /kɛvɪn nɪkəlawz/. However, because there are so many Kevins I have been contemplating starting the KSA or "Kevin Student Association." You need not be named Kevin to join.

Favorite Demo
My Favorite Demo was the Traveling Salesman Demo, because you could see the program working out the shortest distance possible. I thought that the program represented something that could solve a legitimate problem. Finding a way to minimize distance to a group of destinations is great. It was also one of the more engaging Demos.
