My favorite demonstration was the earth’s topography demo. It was very neat to see how the script file took steps to plot the data by dimensions and then see the finished product which was a perfect model of the earth. Later on in engineering I will probably refer back to this demo to be able to create something similar using Matlab.

About Me

I am an undergraduate student at Duke University. I am an undecided engineering major and will most likely double major with Economics and Civil Engineering. Dar38 12:46, 31 August 2011 (EDT)

Name Pronunciation

My name is Daniel Reiff, pronounced "dan-YULL REEF." My family calls me Daniel; my friends call me Dan, Daniel, or Reiff (All are fine by me).

Homework 1

This is a very interesting and ambitious project that could potentially kill several “challenge birds” with one stone:

Masdar: Abu Dhabi's Carbon-Neutral City, Tom Heap, BBC Radio 4, updated 28 March 2010, accessed 31 August 2008 (Grand Challenge: Urban Infrastructure/Solar Energy/Carbon Sequestration)

Homework 2

My favorite demonstration was the Earth’s Topography demo. It was very neat to see how the script file took steps to plot the data by dimensions and then see the finished product which was a perfect model of the earth. Later on in engineering I will probably refer back to this demo to be able to create something similar using Matlab.
