Ocean Disposal/Sequestration of Carbon Dioxide from Fossil Fuel Production and Use: An Overview of Rationale, Techniques and Implications, Paul Johnston, David Santillo, Ruth Stringer, Greenpeace International, March 4 1999, September 14 2009 (Carbon Sequestration)

Miscellaneous

  • CD and DIR no more. Type nautilus & in the command line to open the Nautilus file manager, which is similar to Windows Explorer (works better with Mac/Linux).
  • In Linux (works similarly in Mac and Windows), go to sftp://xyz1@teer13.oit.duke.edu/u/x/y/xyz1/ where xyz1 is your username, x is the first letter of your username, and y is the second letter of your username. You will be prompted to enter your password.
  • To create a website using your Duke server space: after SSH-ing into the Duke server, open the folder public_html, and put your stuff there. The files you make there will be viewable at http://duke.edu/~awm10, just remember to replace awm10 with your username, and to create a file named index.html.
