My favorite MATLAB demonstration was the one about displaying topographical data, under Graphics, 3-D Plots and 4-D Visualization. I thought it was incredible that you could load real data from the National Geophysical Data Center and use it to create a topographical map, just through a few lines of code! In the demonstration, first a contour map is created, and then an image of the topography is created. The map can even be printed onto a 3D surface, to create a topographical globe. I liked this demonstration the most because of its visuals and how useful it could be.

Grand Challenges for Engineering Article

Report Shows Solar Prices Have Already Dropped To 2020 Goals, Allee Manning, Inverse Innovation, 19 September 2017, accessed 20 September 2017 (Make Solar Energy Economical)

Favorite MATLAB demonstration

My favorite MATLAB demonstration was the one about displaying topographical data, under Graphics, 3-D Plots and 4-D Visualization. I thought it was incredible that you could load real data from the National Geophysical Data Center and use it to create a topographical map, just through a few lines of code! In the demonstration, first a contour map is created, and then an image of the topography is created. The map can even be printed onto a 3D surface, to create a topographical globe. I liked this demonstration the most because of its visuals and how useful it could be.
