About me
I am a freshman undergraduate student in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University. I hope to major in Electrical and Computer Engineering, but we'll see! I am an international student from Peru, and I had never used any coding language before EGR 103.
Name Pronunciation
My first name is pronounced just as it is read. So it sounds like "An-gee". My last name however, is hispanic, and sounds like "le(as when you say "le-mur")-ee".
Interests
I love to cook and bake, I eat chocolate all day, and am currently learning more about the technical background of photography. I haven't been able to bake my favorite chocolate cake yet because my dorm's kitchen is tiny. However, I look forward to taking over, and making a mess in GA's kitchen very soon!

MATLAB Demonstrations
The demonstration I found the most interesting out of all was the 'Viewing a Penny' from the Graphics section. I particularly enjoyed this demonstration because it showed how MATLAB can be applied to real life situations. In this case, even an everyday situation! I had never seen the code for drawing a surface plot with a colormap, and even though it was challenging to understand, it gave me some more insight on how surface plot works for graphics.
