About My Name
Hello! I'm Madden Osei and my friends pronounce it "MA-DEN" "O-Say." I won't point out how my family pronounces it because that would require me to phonetically sound out an African accent. Also, if one is so inclined to call me Maddog (or any of its variants), I will gladly respond.
Interests/Hobbies
I am very interested in how Engineering can interact with and improve Social Entrepreneurship. I also enjoy rapping with friends or playing sports (I have an undying competitive spirit).

Favorite Demonstration
I loved the demonstration on Loma Prieta Earthquake because of all the different analyses capable. For example, you can make plots of the accelerations obtained by the accelerometer in UC Santa Cruz. After zooming in on specific, tiny intervals of the acceleration, one can make many extremely interesting plots of acceleration per second.From the acceleration, we can derive the position, and with this position we can see the path of the earthquake in a 3-dimensional space. All with just Matlab!
