The reason this is my favorite is because not only does it create a topographical map of the entire earth, but color codes it and creates a globe from the map. The fact that MatLab can do 3-D modeling like this is really cool. It gets me exciting to eventually learn how to do things like this. |

Demonstrations
My favorite MatLab demonstration has to be the Earth's topography demonstration. The reason this is my favorite is because not only does it create a topographical map of the entire earth, but color codes it and creates a globe from the map. The fact that MatLab can do 3-D modeling like this is really cool. It gets me exciting to eventually learn how to do things like this.
