About Me

I am a freshman in the Duke University class of 2017. I am currently in the Trinity School of Arts and Sciences but I am planning of switching into Pratt School of Engineering to major in mechanical engineering. I am from San Antonio Where I attended Communications Arts High School and developed my love for engineering as a summer intern for San Antonio's Southwest Research Institute. I have also aquired skills in the engineering design software solidworks. In my free time, I enjoy playing the guitar and I am in the process of teaching myself how to play the piano.

Homework 2

I completed all of the examples on Matlab and my favorite by far has to be the 3-d graph of Isosurface, Isocaps, Coneplot, and Streamlines of Wind Data. This was a very difficult graph to create but it is very intricate and beautiful and is almost like a combination of several concepts learned.

Grand Challenges

I am interested in the brain so, as my Grand Challenges for Engineering assignment, I found an article related to the brain and using new technologies to improve our understanding of how it works:
