My name is Joseph Timko.  I graduated in the class of 2013 from Ridge High School in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.  I have an older sister and a younger brother.  Naturally as the middle child I always have a chip on my shoulder, which I cope with by routinely beating up small children on playgrounds.  Some things I am involved with on campus are DEID, Energy Club, DUI, and House Council.  I live in Giles dorm on East Campus and my dorm is always welcome to fellow engineers looking for some fun times.

The Loma Prieta Earthquake was my favorite MATLAB demo because i saw the code of MATLAB producing coherent and easily understandable data about a clearly applicable real-world topic.  In addition, I thought this MATLAB demo was particularly useful because it demonstrates the many different types of graphs that MATLAB can create to display your data, which gives you great optionality in how to best present many different types at once in a clear way.

Favorite MATLAB Demo

The Loma Prieta Earthquake was my favorite MATLAB demo because i saw the code of MATLAB producing coherent and easily understandable data about a clearly applicable real-world topic. In addition, I thought this MATLAB demo was particularly useful because it demonstrates the many different types of graphs that MATLAB can create to display your data, which gives you great optionality in how to best present many different types at once in a clear way.
