I think it was cool how you could go step by step in making a flat map of the Earth into a colored 3D map showing the topography throughout various continents. It's interesting to see how something that looks really complicated to make isn't actually that complicated. It makes me wonder if NASA scientists use a similar code to create topography maps of other planets. |

Demonstration
The Earth Topography Map was really interested me the most. I think it was cool how you could go step by step in making a flat map of the Earth into a colored 3D map showing the topography throughout various continents.
