MATLAB contains various demos and codes you could run so that first year students can have a reference point when trying to figure out how to perform certain tasks (Plotting, 3-D plotting, matrix operations, etc.). One of my favorite demos in MATLAB is the "Graphics: 3-D Subplot" function. I like this function because you can display multiple plots in different subregions of the same window using this function. Also, it makes the plots look very complex and sophisticated. I find it to be my favorite because I think this function will be very useful for future assignments.
