I really liked the demonstrations "Viewing a Penny" and "Earth's Topography" in the graphics section.  I think is is cool how you can download a set of measurements and with just a few lines of code, you can make a very detailed and realistic diagram/model.  This also shows that Matlab is much more than just a powerful calculator, but it has many other functions beyond mathematical calculations.

Matlab Demonstrations

I really liked the demonstrations "Viewing a Penny" and "Earth's Topography" in the graphics section. I think is is cool how you can download a set of measurements and with just a few lines of code, you can make a very detailed and realistic diagram/model. This also shows that Matlab is much more than just a powerful calculator, but it has many other functions beyond mathematical calculations.
