I moved to North Carolina three years ago from Coral Springs, FL and have been desperately trying to avoid getting into the habit of saying ya'll and aquiring a southern accent. Alas, many have told me that I have been unsuccessful in this endeavor. I am very excited to be a member of Duke's class of 2017 and a Blue Devil.I am also excited to be a part of Duke's Pratt School of Engineering.

Favorite Matlab Demo

The Bending Truss Demo
This Demo shows how Matlab can be used to demonstrate real life situations such as tension and suspension on a bridge. I liked how this demo showed that Matlab is not only for creating matrices and surface maps but also for simulating how something such as a bridge would act if people, wind, construction etc. were to jump on it or shake it with different forces as they do everyday.
