Next, try restarting your computer and bring up X-Win 32. If *that* has Display 1, you need to go into X-Config (in the X-Win program group), go to the Network tab, and make sure it is set for Display Number 0. Finally, make sure you are *not* using the "setenv DISPLAY" stuff - with PuTTY and X11 tunnelling you do not need it. - So, I think first, try the fix for the Infinite Maple Startup Time with respect to killing X-Win. Next, try restarting your computer and bring up X-Win 32. If *that* has Display 1, you need to go into X-Config (in the X-Win program group), go to the Network tab, and make sure it is set for Display Number 0.
