Water is a very precious resource and many developing nations have limited access to clean drinkable water.
Many engineers today are working to provide access to clean water for these nations, and many non-profit organizations help fund this progress.
One engineer, Abraham Wright, has worked to design and install two highly effective water pumps in the Central African Republic.
These efforts use engineering to help those in need of water.
