Here's an amazing advancement in engineering achieved through the engineering grand challenges - an all-nanowire sensor: All-Nanowire Sensor Arrives, Kirsten Doyle, ITweb, created 14 August 2008, accessed 15 August 2008 (Engineer Better Medicines)
My favorite demo was the 3 drawing demo. It was very cool to see the 3-D rendering of a few points placed on a plane. It was even cooler to use the camera menu to rotate the 3-D object. I liked using many points to create complex models.
