Although not the most useful demo for a freshie knowledge wise, I was intrigued by the possibilities that MATLAB offers through GUI. I did learn that GUI stands for Graphical User Interface and read up some on the basics of GUI. I found the "World Traveller" to be the most interesting DEMO that I opened. Although not the most useful demo for a freshie knowledge wise, I was intrigued by the possibilities that MATLAB offers through GUI. I did learn that GUI stands for Graphical User Interface and read up some on the basics of GUI. I also learned that if a polar bear from Anchorage wanted to visit a panda bear friend in Beijing it would be a 3964 mile flight. I was disappointed that a large portion of the code was non-viewable through the "Code Generation" option. I am looking forward to learning the scripting and GUI options that MATLAB offers and how this basic knowledge can be applied to more complex programs and languages.
