About Me
My name is Yagmur Menzilcioglu and I am a first year student in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University. I am planning to major in Biomedical Engineering. I am also an international student, from Izmir, Turkey.
Name Pronunciation
I know, since my name, Yagmur, is in Turkish it looks very difficult. It is pronounced like the 'g' is silent, so it sound like "Yamur". Also my name means "rain" in Turkish. And my last name, Menzilcioglu is even difficult for people speaking Turkish to pronounce it, so I will choose to go with "Menzil" instead.
Courses
This fall I am taking four 1 credit courses and a 0.5 credit one:
