About Me
I am a first year student in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University. I am planning to major in Biomedical Engineering. I am also an international student, from Izmir, Turkey.
Name Pronunciation
I know, since my name, Yagmur, is in Turkish it looks very difficult, but actually it is a very nice name. It is pronounced like the 'g' is silent, so it sound like "Yamur". Also my name means "rain" in Turkish. And my last name, Menzilcioglu is even difficult for Turkish speaking people to pronounce it so I will choose to go with "Menzil" instead.
Courses
This fall I am taking four 1 credit courses and a 0.5 credit one:
- 1 Credits:
- MATH 111
- EGR 103
- WRITING 101
- CHEM 101
- 0.5 Credit:
- PHYSEDU 108, which is pilates.
Clubs
For now I have only signed up for Skiing & Snowboarding Club and Tennis Club.
