Favorite Demo: The Loma Prieta Earthquake -- This was my favorite demo becasue it showed how a mixture of calculations, several different kinds of pplots, and analysis of those plots could be combined to solve a real life problem (modeling an earthquake), and how I could actually understand a large portion of the code, and comprehend the steps taken to model something as seemingly complex as the vibrations from an earthquake.
