My name is Thomas Gettliffe. I'm part of Duke's Class of 2016 and am planning on majoring in ECE at Duke's Pratt School of Engineering.
Interests
I enjoy most things to do with computers (I'm not athletic at all..), so hit me up if you like playing games, such as:
- Anything else, really.
Classes
As of Fall 2012, I am taking:
- Multivariable Calculus (Math 212)
- Computational Methods in Engineering (EGR 103)
- Immersive Virtual Worlds (ISIS 270S)
- On the Boundaries of Medicine (Writing 20)
Grand Challenges for Engineering Article
- Toward a Safer and More Secure Cyberspace, Seymour E. Goodman and Herbert S. Lin, The National Academies Press, published 2007, accessed 9 September 2012 (Secure cyberspace)
This isn't an article per se; rather, it is a book available for free online (read only).
MATLAB Demonstration
- This is my favorite demo because it shows the practicality and robustness of MATLAB for various fields and formats. I also like it because of the cool looking 3D plots and graphs.
