My favorite MATLAB demo was the 2-D Plots demo. The demo is very straightforward and applies concepts learned in lecture to producing plots in MATLAB. For instance, the "x=0:0.05:5;" command is what Dr. Gustafson taught us for making a matrix from 0 to 5 in steps of .5, but this demo applies that command to making increments on the x-axis. Also the xlabel('Time') entry for naming an axis is similar to MATLAB commands for changing the name of matrices. These parallels between matrix and plot commands facilitated my understanding of plotting 2-D graphs.

Favorite MATLAB Demonstration
