I never knew that the varying heights on the surface of a penny could be used to sketch and create similar models of an actual penny if the brightness is proportional to the height. Moreover, this idea of drawing a pseudocolor plot could be utilized in other situations of color rendering and imaging. As I am quite interested in information visualization and related fields, this demo proved to be my favorite. |

Favorite Demo
- My favorite demo was the "Viewing a Penny" demo. I never knew that the varying heights on the surface of a penny could be used to sketch and create similar models of an actual penny if the brightness is proportional to the height. Moreover, this idea of drawing a pseudocolor plot could be utilized in other situations of color rendering and imaging. As I am quite interested in information visualization and related fields, this demo proved to be my favorite.
