==Personal Life==

I am the daughter of Manuel and Maria Sanchez, both Cuban-born American citizens. They both grew up outside of Boston, Massachusetts (which explains my sports teams preferences below). I have an older brother, Marcus, who has an Masters in Computer Science and Engineering from [http://www.jhu.edu Johns Hopkins University]. Pepper, my miniature schnauzer, is the final member of the immediate Sanchez family. I have lived in South Florida with my family since I was born.

Favorite MATLAB Demo

My favorite demo is Visualizing Sound. The command xpsound demonstrates MATLAB's sound capability. I learned from reading the demo that it is useful for viewing audio files graphically. I think it is interesting that a math program, like MATLAB, can easily translate audio files into graphics.
