About Me

I am a freshmen at Duke University from Brandon, Florida, outside of Tampa. I am studying biomedical engineering, mathematics, and maybe a minor in neuroscience.

Pronunciation

My name is pronounced pretty much as it is read. Cam-er-on Kim, just think of the stadium.

Grand Challenges for Engineering

Making Personalized Medicine a Reality, Lisa A. Haile, Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News, created 01 January 2008, accessed 30 August 2010 (Grand Challenge)

MATLAB Demonstrations

One of my favorite MATLAB demonstrations is the 3D-surface plots. While I have not worked too much with surface plots in my math classes, I see the abilities to create the graphs can have much better capabilities than an equation. The abilities to change the colors and contours, and make different types of shading and contour lines is very interesting. Also, the 3D graphics and colors are just neat, plain and simple!
