My favorite demonstration was by far Earth's Topography. I have a little bit of programming experience with Java, and absolutely loved it, and naturally was amazed with it's capacity. So working with MATLAB, the code was a bit different, but fairly familiar. But I was definitely not impressed since it was missing a lot of things Java had that I considered convenient and helpful in terms of organization and understanding the code. But seeing MATLAB produce a topological map of the earth, and also a 3D globe that can be moved around, I was fairly impressed. This demonstration was not only helpful, but got me to understand the capabilities of MATLAB.

About Me

My name is Richy Yun, a freshman at Duke University. I'm an engineering major, currently undecided on exactly what kind, but interested in biomedical, and perhaps double majoring in mechanical engineering. As for other interests, the only thing I really have going on is taekwondo.

Name Pronunciation

My first name is pronounced as it's spelled. And it's a h, not a k. Richy is usually spelled as 'Richie' so most people tend to confuse it with 'Ricky,' especially with my handwriting. But it's RicHy. As for my last name, although it's spelled Yun, it's pronounced as Yoon. That one's understandable though, so I'll totally understand if it doesn't stick.

MATLAB Demonstrations
