About Me
I'm Ankit Rastogi and I hail from West Chicago, Illinois, about 40 miles directly west of... Chicago... I plan to study ME and Econ or Stats. I'm ridiculously into data analytics and asset-based community development. I'm involved with Duke Motorsports, Duke Raas, and am a product of pSearch.
Interests
I love to hike (I attempted the Everest base camp climb twice but, alas, failed. Third time's the charm. I also love to sing, act, play tennis, and play the Euphonium.
Grand Challenges for Engineering
While looking through the Grand Challenges for Engineering I noticed toward the bottom of the list was "Engineer the Tools of Scientific Discovery." see Engineer the Tools of Scientific Discovery, National Academy of Engineering, updated September 2015, accessed 12 September 2015 (Grand Challenges)
The concept of creating tools that define all that is capable of being learned through research is what so highly intrigued me to this challenge.
Favorite MATLAB tutorials
The clear superior demo was that explaining how to produce a version of minesweeper. There's something so right about that game. Also, it proved MATLAB's capacity to create a large arrange of things, allowing users to use the tool to not only solve mathematical and scientific problems, but also to entertain him or herself.
