About Me

I am an undergraduate student studying engineering at Duke University. I am interested in Civil and Environmental engineering with plans to graduate with a BSE in 2019.My other interests include rock climbing, hiking, and hanging out with friends.

Name Pronunciation

My family says "Ev-Rett" for my first name. The "K" in my last name is not silent! Thus, it is pronounced KA-nood-SEN. Don't worry, I'm not nude.

MATLAB Demonstration

My favorite MATLAB demonstration is an example of how to create the script to model Boy's Surface. It is a very interesting script that creates an incredible 3D model. I also like the story behind Boy's Surface because Werner Boy created something that his teacher thought was not possible! I think the Boy's Surface model takes advantage of many of MATLAB's useful features.
