Name Pronounciation

My name is pronounced "a-lex GOO-tyer-res."

About Me

I am a current Pratt freshman at Duke Univeristy trying to figure out what I am going to major in. For sure, I am NOT doing BME! I currently reside in Southgate, and I bug David Rosenberg frequently, but he enjoys the company.

Background

I am from Edinburg, Texas, which is in the Rio Grande Valley, which is 4 hours south of San Antonio for those who still have no idea where I am from.

Hobbies

I am always playing soccer or talking about soccer. I currently play for the Duke Club soccer team, Southgate 7v7 IM team, and La Masia 11v11 IM team. I also am an avid Liverpool FC fan! YNWA

Grand Challenges of Engineering

Here is some information concerning how to Restore and improve urban infrastructure.

MATLAB

My favorite MATLAB demo was the 3-D surface plotting demo because it looked very intereseting and the surface plotting would assist me in my multivariable calculus class when we have to plot 3-D planes and figures.
